Our Ideal Candidate We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our Regina team. In this role, you will apply your design experience and technical knowledge to civil infrastructure projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate across disciplines and offices, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client and regulatory expectations. A Day in the Life As a Senior Civil Designer, you will: Produce detailed civil earthworks and infrastructure layout drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D Apply design standards, based on project and client needs Ensure adherence to project specifications and applicable codes Interface with multidisciplinary and interoffice teams, clients, and contractors to provide design input and technical support Conduct occasional site visits and field reviews to validate design work and collect as-built data as required Contribute to project planning and coordination with Project Managers, Engineers and Project Teams Lead or support quantity take-offs, grading plans, site servicing layouts, and erosion control designs Mentor junior and intermediate Designers to enhance their career growth Receive and distribute work to junior and intermediate Designers to maximize Design Team efficiencies and utilization Champion deliverable quality and peer reviews to ensure corporate branding, consistency and standards are met through leading by example Coordinate interdisciplinary project collaboration Identify technical gaps and inefficiencies in processes and recommend suitable solutions What You’ll Bring to the Team Diploma of Technology in a Civil program (EDDT preferred) Minimum 10 years of experience in civil design, including complex civil/earthworks, interdisciplinary projects Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential Experience with Navisworks Bluebeam Revu, Global Mapper, and Microsoft Office products would be considered an asset Strong understanding of coordinate systems, survey data processing, material take-off’s, and the project life cycle Proven experience in the design of municipal infrastructure, land development, site grading, roads, ditches, and ponds/lagoons Excellent communication and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary team environment High level of technical competence, attention to detail, and project accountability Ability to lead and distribute work to junior and intermediate Designers What’s in it for you?
