Benefits: * Day Shift: £19.50 – £19.70 per hour (Monday–Friday, flexible 4- or 5-day patterns) * Night Shift: £25.35 – £25.61 per hour (8:45 PM – 7:00 AM) * Permanent, full-time role with consistent hours and shift flexibility * Highly competitive hourly rates * Flexible shift options: choose between 4-day or 5-day patterns * Company pension scheme with long-term job security * 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays * Company sick pay and 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) * Access to health and wellbeing support services * Retail and holiday discounts for employees * Free on-site parking and modern workshop facilities Key Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical borers, mill-turns, and 5-axis machines using Fanuc controls * Produce precision-engineered components from technical drawings * Maintain tight tolerances and ensure first-time quality on all parts * Work efficiently to meet production cycle times and cost targets * Support process improvement initiatives and tooling optimisation * Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow * Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental policies Requirements: * Time-served engineering apprenticeship or significant experience as a CNC Turner * Proven experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery * Skilled in operating vertical borers, lathes, mill-turns, and 5-axis CNC machines * Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving abilities * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC) * Good PC literacy and ability to complete technical reports accurately Should you require further information, please give us a call on (phone number removed)
