Refrigeration Engineer - Field Service

Mobile Refrigeration Engineer (x2 Positions) Locations: East Anglia & London Full-time | Field-Based | UK Travel Required Make an impact in clean refrigeration technology. We are hiring two Mobile Refrigeration Engineers to support customers in East Anglia and London. You'll be the face of our service team - diagnosing and repairing refrigeration units quickly and effectively to maximise uptime. This role will require travel, including occasional nights away, as well as responding to urgent callouts. When not on the road, you'll support engineering and testing activities that help shape innovative, sustainable cooling technology. What We're Looking For Essential skills & qualifications: F-Gas Category 1 qualification Brazing experience (oxy-propane or oxy-acetylene) Competent brazing with copper and silver solder Refrigeration background (cool rooms, HVAC or similar) Electrical & mechanical engineering skills Valid UK manual driving licence Happily willing to work long hours, travel extensively, and stay away as needed Desirable: Trailer refrigeration or HVAC diagnostics experience Strong problem-solving for unplanned maintenance Confident communicator with good technical documentation skills Ability to prioritise and work independently under SLA timescales Enthusiastic, "hands-on" approach and a passion for sustainability Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues on first visit wherever possible Attend field breakdowns across depot locations, roadside and VMUs Maintain a fully equipped service van and ensure readiness of tools Support engineering teams with testing, investigations, installations and product improvement activities Assist with maintenance of demonstration fleet units Contribute to product launches across the UK and occasionally Europe Benefits Paid overtime 30 days annual leave (including a Wellbeing Day) Sabbatical after 3 years 5 free counselling sessions per year Enhanced family leave (4 weeks to 4 months) Free monthly lunches & quarterly socials Apply Now If you've got the right technical background and want to contribute to cutting-edge refrigeration technology - we'd love to hear from you
