Fabric Engineer – London – £40,000 – Semi-Static Role We’re currently seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a well-established facilities maintenance team based in London. This is a semi-static position offering an excellent salary, long-term stability, and the opportunity to work across a small portfolio of commercial buildings in the city. The Role – Fabric Engineer (London): * Carry out a wide range of building fabric maintenance, repairs, and minor works * Tasks include carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, patching, door repairs, and general upkeep * Respond to reactive maintenance calls and support planned preventative maintenance schedules * Work closely with on-site teams and supervisors to ensure client satisfaction * Maintain accurate job records and follow health & safety procedures Requirements – Fabric Engineer: * Proven experience in a similar Fabric Engineer or building maintenance role * Skilled in basic trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and decorating * Strong understanding of H&S within commercial buildings * Full UK driving licence (if required for travel between nearby sites) * Positive attitude and ability to work independently or within a team What’s on offer: * Basic salary up to £40,000 per annum * Semi-static role – London-based sites within close proximity * Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Company pension and additional employee benefits If you’re an experienced Fabric Engineer in London looking for a stable, well-paid position with a supportive maintenance team, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
