Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Engineer / Service Technician required for a global engineering manufacturer of CNC machine tools. The Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Engineer / Service Technician will have an electrical or mechanical background and prior experience servicing or maintaining machine tools for CNC machining. You will be located within one hour from the main site near Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The successful Field Service Engineer will carry out pre-planned service and maintenance on a wide range of machine tools including rotary tables, presetters, tool holders and workholding solutions, full product training is provided. Meet customers in the UK and Ireland to support with installations and repairs of CNC machine tools. Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance of various CNC machine tools. Build good relationships with customers and represent the company in a professional way. Covering the UK and Ireland.Field Service Engineer Requirements: A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering such as a HND, HNC, Degree or apprenticeship is desirable. Prior experience servicing or maintaining CNC machine tools is advantageous however full product training will be provided. Full UK Driving Licence. Willingness to meet with customers in the UK and Ireland. Live within 1 hour from Sheffield, South Yorkshire
