Production Manager

Production Manager Location: Poole Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 Industry: Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical An opportunity has opened for a Production Manager to join an engineering company based in Poole. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Manufacturing, Factory or Production Manager in the past and will be comfortable supervising and leading a team of operators. The company offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension contribution and early finish Fridays. Production Manager Key Skills: * Experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment in a managerial position * Excellent team management skills * Ideally a Mechanical biased background – machinery, CNC machines, laser operated machines etc * Knowledge of ISO 9001 * Strong hands on knowledge – repairs, troubleshooting would be a bonus * Lean manufacturing knowledge * Six Sigma would be a bonus but not essential Production Manager Responsibilities: * Managing and leading a team of operatives ensuring efficiency and high quality standards * Lead manufacturing and production operations * Monitor performance and mentor any junior members of the team * Drive continuous improvement within the team * Ensure health and safety standards are met * Implement lean methodology If you could be interested in finding out more about this role, please apply with your latest CV
