We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Engineering Estimator to join our growing Installation team. Your Role: As a Project Engineer, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of medical and laboratory gas pipeline installation projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate engineering activities across installation projects * Prepare project documentation including technical reports, drawings, schedules, RAMS and programmes of works * Management of labour requirements on site * Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery * Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve technical issues * Assist with procurement and cost control * Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure compliance with specifications * Maintain accurate records and update our Protean project system * Stay up to date with industry standards and support R&D initiatives Qualifications: * Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience) Skills and Experience: * Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with healthcare/NHS environments is an advantage * Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and technical documentation * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project); CAD skills beneficial * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Personal Qualities: * Self-motivated and highly organised * Comfortable managing multiple projects * A team player with strong interpersonal skills * Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and safety * Flexible, with a practical and hands-on approach SHJ is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
