Setting Out Engineer Location: Company based in Aberdeenshire – working on sites across Scotland Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent Activus Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction company based in Aberdeenshire, delivering services across the UK for over thirty years. Their diverse capabilities span concrete works, civil engineering and main contracting. We’re seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support groundworks and concrete works on various projects throughout Scotland. You’ll ensure all levels, measurements, and layouts are set out accurately to meet design and quality requirements. Responsibilities: * Set out and survey for foundations, drainage, slabs, and concrete structures. * Check drawings, levels, and dimensions for accuracy. * Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to ensure works run smoothly. * Maintain QA records and ensure health & safety compliance. Requirements: * Proven experience in groundworks and RC/concrete setting out. * Competent with Leica/Trimble total stations. * Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. * CSCS card and a full UK driving licence. * Willing to travel to sites throughout Scotland
