Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Kent Company Type: SME Residential Developer Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established small to medium-sized construction and development company based in Kent. The business builds approximately 20 high-quality residential properties per year and prides itself on a close-knit team environment, where most staff have been with the company for over six years. Key Responsibilities: * Manage all cost planning, budgeting, and financial control throughout each project. * Prepare tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities. * Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments. * Monitor project cost performance and ensure delivery within budget and timescales. * Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial objectives are met. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction or development. * Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team environment.
