Cnc Miller

A forward-thinking and well-established engineering company is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing team. This is a permanent position offering a 4-day working week, with regular overtime available. This is an excellent opportunity where they are looking for someone to progress into a team leader role. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components to high standards. Key Responsibilities: * Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines * Interpreting and working from engineering drawings * Producing one-off and small batch components to tight tolerances * Conducting in-process and final inspection of parts * Working independently and within a team to meet production deadlines Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Miller * Ability to programme at the machine is essential * Experience with offline programming (e.g. CAD/CAM) is advantageous * Familiarity with Hurco machines and controls is beneficial but not essential * Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances * Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach What We Offer: * 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday) * Regular overtime opportunities * Modern workshop environment * Supportive and forward-thinking team culture * Opportunities for skill development and progression
