A leading international robotics company is looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to establish and grow their presence in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to be the company’s first UK hire, combining sales expertise with technical knowledge of industrial robotics and automation. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and execute UK-specific sales strategies, including lead generation and pipeline management. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, using CRM tools to track opportunities and progress. Drive business development and manage the full sales cycle in the UK. Localise sales and technical documentation for the UK market. Provide technical and application support, including proof-of-concept demonstrations and on-site presentations. Act as the company’s technical representative on-site, delivering high levels of service and building long-term customer relationships. Capture market insights and customer feedback to influence product positioning, strategy, and commercial strategy. What We’re Looking For: Experience in industrial robotics, industrial automation, or related manufacturing technologies. Strong understanding of industrial processes and efficiency optimisation, safety, and productivity. Proven B2B sales experience, including pipeline management and CRM usage. Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and delivering technical demos and PoCs. Self-motivated, independent, and capable of driving operations in a new market. Adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate with international teams. Remote across the UK, with occasional travel to customer sites and international offices.
