Heating Engineer – Northampton £40,000 - £43,000k basic depending on experience - £48,000 (with overtime) package depending on experience, plus vehicle, fuel card, mobile, uniform and benefits. Out-of-hours evening and weekend cover is required on a ROTA basis The Employer We are working with an established nationwide supplier of heating and energy solutions to the public sector authorities, including social housing on a regional and local level. The services focus on energy efficiency, for warm, safe and compliant homes and the goal is to improve quality of life for the residents. The organization supports ongoing qualifications, and there is a development path for your advancement if this is part of your ambition. The Role The responsibilities of the heating engineer are to repair and maintain heating systems within client properties (domestic properties in the public sector) across the Norwich area, to ensure heating and hot water systems are operating efficiently and that repairs are completed safely and in a timely manner. You will update progress of work, record paperwork on jobs and ensure all safety requirements and risk assessments are adhered to. You will also comply with stock ordering and auditing processes, so that all parts are available for job requirements. The Applicant We are looking forward to hearing from heating engineers with gas qualifications including CCN1 CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1. We are looking for a friendly and professional person that can build rapport with clients and tenants and that is open to some rota work out of hours. As we are working closely with those in social housing, a DBS check will be required before employment is offered and confirmed
