Freelance Senior QS

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a major Defence infrastructure project in Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and commercial performance on a complex, high-security site. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with prior experience in the defence, security, or nuclear sectors to contribute to a significant project. Key Responsibilities * Provide full commercial and cost management support across the project lifecycle. * Prepare, manage, and assess tenders, valuations, variations, and claims. * Support contract administration under NEC or similar forms of contract. * Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting to senior stakeholders. Requirements * Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and public sector procurement. * Existing UK Security Clearance (SC or higher) is highly desirable.
