Legal Cashier

Location: Harrogate Type: Full-time | Permanent Our client, a respected law firm in Harrogate, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and other regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the Finance Manager in delivering an accurate, efficient accounts service. Maintain and reconcile office and client bank accounts daily. Ensure compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and firm policies. Process client and office transactions, supplier invoices, and payments. Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit preparation. Monitor overdue accounts and support collection efforts. Provide guidance to colleagues on accounts procedures and financial compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold financial integrity across the firm. About You Previous experience in a legal cashiering or accounts role, ideally within a law firm. Strong understanding of Solicitors' Accounts Rules. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Confident using accounting and case management systems.
