Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to join our client as their Company Accountant. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting for the main business plus 2 sister companies. There is excellent potential for growth within this role to FD level. THE ROLE: Preparation of monthly management accounts Budgeting and forecasting including variance analysis Preparation of VAT returns Overseeing payroll Cash flow management and reporting Maintenance of fixed asset register Developing relations with bank, external auditors Ad hoc reporting as required THE CANDIDATE: You will be a confident individual who takes a proactive approach to work. You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload, use your initiative and work to tight deadlines. You will be a qualified accountant who is looking to further develop their career. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with non finance personnel. THE COMPANY: Operating in the contracting/construction industry our client has been a leader in their field since it was established over 30 years ago.
