Gas Engineer

Location: Havant Sector: Social Housing Position: Service & Repair Engineer Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are currently seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Havant area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties. Key Responsibilities: Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records Requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1 Full UK driving licence No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment) Salary & Benefits: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Additional earning potential with overtime, call out and weekend work available at enhanced rates Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided Salary: £38,0000 - £40,000 per year Depending on experience OTE £40,000 per annum 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme 24/7 GP Access, Mental Health Support & Fitness Programs To apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV, and one of our team members will be in touch.
