Controls Engineer

Role – Controls Engineer Location – Liverpool Type – Permanent (Hybrid working available) Salary – Circa £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience A UK based manufacturing company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree, HND or an equivalent Electrical engineering or Automation qualification Minimum 3 years’ experience working with PLC's and CAD Good PLC, HMI & SCADA knowledge & experience – ideally Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) but others will be considered such as Allen Bradley Panel design experience ideally working with EPlan 8 or AutoCAD Strong communication skills. Ability to work alone or as part of a teamThe Controls Engineer role will involve: Designing & developing control systems for manufacturing equipment - working mainly with Siemens systems Developing electrical designs using Eplan software Ensure work complies with industry standards such as ATEX Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are being met Ensuring health & safety regulations are being adhered toIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
