The Role: Key Responsibilities As a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, you will: Advise on commercial leases , acting for both landlords and tenants in high-value transactions. Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions , often with complex or strategic elements. Support on development and planning matters , advising major clients on large-scale projects. Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base — including investors, developers, landlords and occupiers . Lead matters independently while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development. What You’ll Bring 5–10 years’ PQE in commercial property law, ideally from a well-regarded regional or City firm. Proven experience running a caseload of complex commercial property transactions. Strong negotiation and drafting skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach. Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to manage demanding client portfolios. A following or established network is desirable but not essential. Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for business development and growing the firm’s offering.
