We are looking for an independent and experienced Shopfitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipe sections and brackets, with a strong focus on quality and precision. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our production processes. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Independently fabricate pipe sections and brackets Assemble pipe sections, fittings, and other necessary components Prepare, clean, and degrease weld seams (cutting, grinding) Tack-weld pipe sections (TIG and MIG) according to guidelines Transport materials to and from the workspace Report completed pipe sections and components according to guidelines Identify and report deviations in pipe materials, components, and drawings to the supervisor Perform maintenance on tools and machines, ensuring a clean and safe workspace Report machine and tool malfunctions to the supervisor Conduct intermediate and final inspections for dimensional accuracy Test (punching and pressure testing) piping systems Responsibilities: Ensure the correct dimensions and quality of fabricated and assembled pipe sections Perform intermediate and final quality inspections Efficiently fabricate and assemble pipe sections and piping systems Ensure pipe sections remain properly sealed Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations Properly operate machinery and tools Maintain and service machines and tools Approve products for welding and/or foreman review Maintain quality standards for pipe materials and components Authorities: Report quality deviations to the supervisor Address colleagues and visitors on improper safety, health, and environmental practices Propose improvements, both requested and unsolicited Approve fabricated and assembled pipe sections for welding and/or foreman review Wij bieden A challenging position within a professional and independent team Opportunities for personal and professional development A safe and supportive work environment A competitive salary ranging from €3,500 to €3,950, depending on experience and skills Join IHC and contribute to innovative projects in the maritime sector!
