Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst

Position: Senior Credit Analyst (Bilingual)Location: Toronto (Hybrid)Salary: Competitive and based on experienceJob Type: Permanent Overview:Our client, a leading Canadian financial services organization, is currently seeking a bilingual Senior Credit Analyst to join their growing credit team. In this role, you will conduct detailed credit assessments and financial analyses for a diverse portfolio of business and commercial clients with significant credit exposure. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in credit adjudication, financial analysis, and risk management.Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and adjudicate new and existing business accounts, approving or declining applications within delegated authority.- Conduct ongoing risk assessments of a commercial portfolio, including regular reviews and recommendations related to credit limits, collateral, and exposure levels.- Manage individual client portfolios by performing periodic reviews, collateral updates, and compliance reporting.- Lead negotiations with senior business executives (CEO, CFO, VP, Directors) regarding credit decisions.- Perform detailed financial statement and industry analysis, financial modeling, and review of accounting policies impacting financial results.- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.- Pursuing a post-graduate degree or professional certifications like MBA, CFA, or CPA.- Fluency in both French and English.- Minimum 3 years of experience in business/commercial credit adjudication.- Experience analyzing business financial statements is required for the role. - Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.Why Join:- Comprehensive total rewards package including performance-based incentives and flexible benefits.- Employer-contributed retirement programs.- Access to professional development, learning platforms, and wellness initiatives.- Inclusive, diverse workplace culture with employee resource groups and mentorship opportunities.- Paid personal days, volunteer days, and office closure during holidays.To apply, please send your resume to Christina Cerra at christina.cerra@quantum.ca.
