If you're passionate about growth — both personal and business — we want to hear from you.What You'll Be Doing:As Financial Controller, you'll be the right hand to the Director of Finance, owning the full spectrum of financial operations. You'll lead a small but mighty team, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute directly to strategic decisions that shape the future of the company.Core Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:- Prepare accurate, timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for both parent and subsidiaries- Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to leadership- Partner with department heads to align budgets with business goals- Own the annual budget process and monthly reforecasts- Build models and projections that guide smart, strategic planning- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards- Manage audits and ensure a clean, smooth year-end process- Oversee payroll and group benefits administration- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with GST, PST, CNESST, WSIB, and other local regulations- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting- Optimize cash flow and maintain banking relationships- Lead and develop a finance team of 2- Oversee A/R, A/P, and implement process improvementsYou'll Thrive Here If You Have: - CPA - 3 years in a Controller, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role- Deep understanding of accounting standards, controls, and financial reporting- Strong ERP experience - Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a drive to innovate and improve- A genuine passion for making business a force for goodOur Culture:We're powered by plants — and fueled by purpose.
