Data Warehouse Engineer

Join a dynamic team at a small yet rapidly growing bank in Amsterdam! Support and develop the existing data warehouse, interfaces, and user tools using SQL Server, SSIS, BI tools, and Microsoft development platforms. Maintain and enhance the data model and ETL pipelines in collaboration with business stakeholders to reflect new business requirements. Implement and update data quality checks within the data warehouse. Prepare and maintain technical documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring optimal operation and security. Define and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Establish user access, roles, and permissions across database systems. Ensure adherence to internal and external data governance policies and audit requirements. Perform regular database tuning and capacity planning to meet operational demands. Contribute to IT development projects across various divisions and work with outsourcing parties. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure and data strategies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts within the organization. Support and promote data governance and data management initiatives.
