Embedded Software Engineer Camden, NJ (Onsite, 5 days/week – 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off) Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required Contract: 12 months (Contract-to-perm potential) ‍ Openings: 20 Job Summary: A federal client is seeking multiple Embedded Software Engineers to support mission-critical systems. This is a full-time, onsite role in Camden, NJ, ideal for engineers with experience in modern C++, real-time embedded systems, and secure software development. Responsibilities: Develop embedded software for simulated and target hardware Work with RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity) Design using object-oriented principles and UML tools (e.g., Rhapsody, MagicDraw) Develop device drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs) Collaborate with hardware and systems teams Participate in full software development lifecycle Troubleshoot and resolve complex embedded issues Create test plans and technical documentation Required Qualifications: Active Secret clearance Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 2 years of embedded software development experience Proficiency in Modern C++ Experience with RTOS and UML tools Knowledge of Rust Bonus: Experience with cryptography or secure coding Why Apply?
