Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Colorado Springs, CO Salary Range: $65-70/hr Contract: 12 Months, possible extension Active secret clerance required to start Introduction Join a passionate and highly-motivated team at the forefront of national defense. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered: * Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 * Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry * Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills * Minimum of 1 year in system engineering (e.g., Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test) * Active U.S. Security Clearance required to start. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have skills but are not required: * 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance or an active Top Secret clearance highly desired * Understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures, and communications system concepts * Experience with verification of requirements * Experience in scripting and automated test development * Experience using MATLAB, Python, JAVA, or similar language environment * Experience with Agile Development processes Day-to-Day Responsibilities Key tasks and expectations for the role: * Collaborate with industry partners in the development and execution of a comprehensive assessment program * Evaluate systems under various scenarios and architectures to optimize overall system mission performance * Develop and maintain analysis tools including modeling and simulation tools * Support integration and test domains, system engineering system performance, and system-specific issues * Execute and document integration and test activities and events * Perform system analysis trade studies to define technical concepts and solutions Company Benefits & Culture * Inclusive and diverse work environment * Opportunities for career growth and development * Comprehensive benefits package For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex or send your resume at
