Low Voltage Technician

Job Description Job Description Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required! Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security cameras, access control systems, and speaker installations. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining these systems, ensuring they meet client needs. A background in construction, particularly in running wire and making rj45 heads, is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and troubleshoot security cameras. • Install and maintain access control systems, including magnetic locks, keycard scanners, and intercom systems. • Install home and commercial speaker systems. • Conduct site surveys to assess installation needs and determine the best installation strategies. • Maintain accurate documentation of installations and provide reports as needed. Qualifications: • Proven experience with security camera, access control (magnetic locks, keycard systems, intercoms), and speaker system installations. • Knowledge of wiring standards, low voltage wiring, and basic electrical work. • Experience with construction, including running conduit, fishing wire, and basic drywall cutting. • Familiarity with IP networks, structured cabling, and power-over-ethernet (PoE) technology is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
