Role summary: Execute and coordinate international import and export operations to ensure on-time deliveries and full compliance with national and international customs regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the shipment of IGT products from the U.S. and Mexico to Colombia and the Caribbean, aligning with the weekly production forecast and in collaboration with freight forwarders and customs brokers. Monitor and track all shipments to guarantee timely delivery according to quarterly forecasts and customer expectations. Ensure that all import and export procedures strictly comply with local and international trade regulations. Manage applications for import licenses, including used equipment permits and hazardous material authorizations (e.g., batteries). Identify trade barriers and provide recommendations or corrective actions to prevent shipment delays or compliance risks. Review and prepare all export/import documentation, including letters of instruction, proformas, invoices, packing lists, AWBs, and BLs. Coordinate with freight forwarders and couriers to ensure smooth door-to-door logistics. Prepare monthly KPIs and perform cost analysis and invoice reconciliations related to shipments and broker fees. Maintain accurate import/export databases and legal archives for audit readiness. Request quotations from vendors and conduct comparative cost analyses to support the sales and logistics teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, or Logistics. Minimum 3 years of experience in international import/export operations. Advanced English proficiency. Strong working knowledge of SAP and intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Results-oriented, analytical, organized, and collaborative. Preferred Knowledge Familiarity with the IMMEX Program and related export compliance frameworks.
