Job Description

Internal Audit & Investigations - Regional Manager Tenneco is seeking an experienced Internal Audit experienced professional to lead and manage the Internal Audit Projects within the Americas region and to help carry out Whistleblower Investigations, pertaining to Financial Fraud, Conflict of Interest, Operational Fraud investigations in countries like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, US & Canada. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the planning, coordination, and communication of audit activities, including management of individual internal audit projects Assist with oversight of the ICFR / SOX compliance program Manage Internal Audit staff members, primarily contracted employees; provide training, as required Maintain databases used for internal audit documentation and testing efforts Review process and walkthrough documentation and collaborate with process owners to ensure IA / ICFR / SOX program compliance Assist with compliance investigations, as needed. Promote a strong ethical culture aligned with Tenneco’s Code of Conduct, with a focus on anti-retaliation. Apply regional cultural insights to enhance the impact of global compliance initiatives. Conduct risk assessments at regional, country, and program levels; develop corrective action plans and track progress. Monitor key compliance controls at local and regional levels; collaborate with business units to resolve issues. Qualifications & Requirements 10 years of Internal Audit & Fraud Investigation experiences, preferably within publicly listed companies in the Latam region. Experience in internal audit departments or Risk Consulting is preferred. A Finance degree is mandatory. Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships while maintaining independence. Expertise in conducting investigations. Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to drive consensus and change. Excellent written communication skills, including report writing and training content development. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Portuguese is desirable
