Passive Safety Laboratory Manager (CAE & Crash Test) – Automotive For one of our clients we are looking for a Passive Safety Laboratory Manager for the Automotive Business Unit. Responsibilities Operational Management: coordination and supervision of laboratory activities. Planning and optimization of resources and test schedules. Monitoring and continuous improvement of operational processes. Direct supervision of tests and verification of compliance with technical protocols. Business Development: identification of new market opportunities and proposal of strategic actions. Collaboration with the sales department to capture new business opportunities. Technical support during the offer and quotation phases. Management of the laboratory’s operational budget and additional budget for extraordinary activities. Economic reporting of assigned activities and collaboration in defining the annual budget. Quality & Compliance: ensuring process compliance with applicable regulations and standards, responsibility for test and inspection reports, support in maintaining accreditations from ministerial bodies and third-party organizations. Management of the technical team: development, training, disciplinary actions, and compensation. Candidate Profile Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent. Proven experience in automotive testing, preferably in passive safety. Knowledge of relevant regulations (UN/ECE, FMVSS, Euro NCAP, etc.). Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills. Excellent knowledge of the English language.
