The Integration Architect will work within PLAS – Platform Architecture Strategy, the BIP value line dedicated to Enterprise Architecture. Projects involve modernizing integration ecosystems across multiple sectors and driving the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI and event‑driven architectures. Responsibilities Lead the design of enterprise integration solutions in hybrid and cloud‑native environments, enabling connectivity between applications, data, and services. Support the transformation of legacy systems and modernization of integration paradigms through APIs, Event‑Driven Architecture (EDA), and iPaaS platforms. Define blueprint architectures, reference models, and guidelines for scalable, resilient, and intelligent integration ecosystems. Integrate emerging technologies—AI, LLMs, multi‑agent orchestration—to design advanced integration solutions. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate vendor‑neutral approaches and technologies. Profile 4‑8 years of experience in IT, directly involved in application integration and architectural modernization projects, preferably at consulting firms, system integrators specializing in integration platforms, or large corporate settings. Experience designing end‑to‑end integration architectures in complex enterprise contexts. Proficiency with at least one major iPaaS platform (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, WebMethods, Workato, Jitterbit, Informatica). Familiarity with Business Process Automation tools (Camunda, Appian, Pega) and/or Low‑Code platforms (OutSystems, Mendix). Solid understanding of core integration paradigms: EAI/ESB/SOA, Pub/Sub, orchestration, choreography, API. Hands‑on experience with integration languages and frameworks (Java, Spring, Quarkus) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher). Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins). Knowledge of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and result orientation. Collaborative mindset and experience working in multidisciplinary teams. Fluent English – written and spoken. Nice to Have iPaaS certifications (Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods, Informatica, SnapLogic, Workato). BPA or Low‑Code certifications (Appian, Camunda, Pega, OutSystems, Mendix). Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP – Foundational or Associate). DevOps / container orchestration certifications (DevOps Foundation, CKA/CKAD, Docker, GitLab, Jenkins). TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks. API Management certifications (Apigee, MuleSoft API Manager, WSO2).
