Software Development Engineer

Overview Pessano Con Bornago, Italy (Hybrid) Software Development Engineer to work in the TVM Software development team for project/product. Responsibilities Design, code, test and document correct, moderately complex systems from supplied specifications, using agreed standards and tools. Conduct reviews of supplied specifications with others as requested. Contribute to the software architectural design. Software maintenance of existing products. Assist the Work Package Leader to produce quality metrics to measure the soundness of the software processes. Qualifications Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of C, C++, OOP, Web Services, XML, UML. OS Linux. Development Environment Qt. English proficiency. Agile/Scrum. OS Windows and/or Real Time Operating Systems. Configuration control: Git, Subversion (SVN). Embedded Systems. Relational and Hierarchical Databases like MS SQL, MySQL, SQLite. Continuous integration/automated test tools: Jenkins, Squish, ecc. Flexibility to travel and work at other locations is essential.
