Job Description

HILL is seeking an Electrical Deputy Project Manager to integrate our team in Milan for a Data Center project. The professional assigned must coordinate site activities by supporting the Project Manager, controlling projects progress, monitoring time, budget and quality of work performed with a focus on the electrical plants. He/She must control electrical technical documentation (including layouts, cost estimation, dimensional calculations, electrical schematics) cooperating with the various project teams, including designers, main contractors and subcontractors. Responsibilities As an Electrical Deputy Project Manager your role involves day-to-day monitoring of on-site construction. You will be responsible for all aspects concerning electrical design, procurement and construction. Verification of technical specifications, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and quality. Monitoring progress and coordinating technical resources. You will work to administer project construction contracts, monitoring milestones and penalties. It will be your responsibility to follow up on all contracted deliverables and ensure quality assurance of the work performed by contractors. Additionally, you will enforce the application of appropriate technical standards throughout the project and oversee contractors' scheduling, conducting, and documentation of construction meetings, including progress meetings, safety meetings, and inspections, while also distributing the minutes of these meetings. Solutions must be studied and identified to solve any technical and organizational problems that may arise during the execution of the works. The role involves the preparation of detailed project progress reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent 5 years of construction management experience A fluent English is mandatory Proven construction management experience in the Data Center/Hospital/Logistic sector Professional accreditation as (PMI/PRINCE/AGILE or equivalent, LEED or BREEAM) will be considered a plus Driver license required Workplace will be in Milan with presence on project sites The Company offers a competitive remuneration package and possibilities of career development within a dynamic working environment.
