And that’s where you come in. Job Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Associate Product Compliance Specialist who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples (NA) or Tito Scalo (PZ). Accountabilities Prepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545; Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in electrical/electronic equipment and lifecycle assessment according to Regulation REACH (1907/2006/EU) and ROHS (2011/65/EU as amended); Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual‑use items (EU and US Regulations); Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions; Required Skills/Knowledge Basic knowledge about EN454545 - Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock; Basic knowledge about LCA Methodologies; Basic knowledge with management and understanding of info related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components; Able to work autonomously and be proactive in the management of the tasks; Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Willing to work in an international team and environment; Excellent communication skills; Education University Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background; Languages Fluent knowledge of English Equal Opportunity Statement It is our commitment at Hitachi Rail to create a diverse environment and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
