Internship – Art Gallery Assistant Galeries Bartoux, a Family Artistic Adventure. For nearly 30 years, Galeries Bartoux has been established as an international main actor in the art market, with 18 galleries spread across France, London, and Miami. Driven by great ambitions, the group has recently celebrated the opening of a unique new space in Venice. Located in the heart of the Dorsoduro district, this former 16th-century theater, is being transformed to create a unique space combining an Art Gallery, Art coffee, and immersive space. Today, we are proud to bring together 80 employees who share a common passion for Art. Our artistic approach is based on interaction with the public, raising awareness of art and exciting cultural values. We are currently looking or an internship profile , as Gallery Assistant, to join our new space in Venezia! Internship Objectives: Attached to the Manager of the Gallery, your missions will be the following: • Welcome customers, provide correct and clear information about our Artists and piece of Art with a high level of service • Support the team on administrative tasks, catalog • Help the team achieve sales targets • Be comfortable with the sale of high value works of Art • Support the internal organization of the Gallery - Light art handling might be requested • Actively participate in event planning in collaboration with the team and the Marketing department • Support the daily upkeep of the Gallery • Take good pictures of our Artworks for our social networks and website The training you will receive: - learning about our Artists and the different styles - learning about Artistic movements - learning about the different techniques of painting and sculpture - learning about materials - learning on VM (Visual Merchandising) & Marketing - Sales training Your profile: - Skills in sales and human interactions -Team spirit - You are a source of proposals to impact the performance of the Gallery - You have a sensitivity to the Art Market and the luxury environment - Excellent presentation skills - You are a Motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive, and responsible person - Very adaptable and thoughtful - Excellent communication skills are mandatory (oral and written) - Knowledge of basic computer tools are strongly recommended - Fluent English & Italian are mandatory - Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated.
