Overview HR Manager role at BoF Careers . The Manager, Talent Development Partner, based in Milan, reports to the Vice President, Talent Development Partner EUME and serves as the HR business partner supporting Talent initiatives across the EU Region. As a HR Generalist, this role keeps a pulse on the employee population, culture and dynamics across the region, developing talent solutions to support the business. Access to free executive coaching on-demand. Responsibilities Support and communicate policies and procedures across the EU Region. Manage risk and ensure legal compliance by staying current with regional regulatory environments. Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits on all new hire and leaver administration across the EU Region. Support initiatives to maintain an open and positive work environment; drive consistency in Talent Policies and Practices across the EU Region. Participate in the implementation, maintenance and evolution of employee programs, policies and procedures across the EU Region. Address employee relations issues proactively and conduct balanced investigations across the EU Region. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across the region (partner with line managers on processing information via Workday). Evaluate and recommend improvements in talent development areas to strengthen skillsets across teams, primarily Italy and in support across the EU Region. Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goal setting, calibrations, compensation reviews) and coach client groups on evaluating, motivating and leading talent. Support delivery of talent development initiatives across the region. Full ownership of all recruitment activities in Italy and across the EU Region as needed. Provide HR support in organizational change initiatives. Ensure accuracy of all employee data and produce ad hoc reports; implement strategic solutions for cost-effective outcomes. Handle administrative tasks for starters, leavers and employment changes across the Region and support as necessary. Support the Vice President TDP on ad hoc projects and maintain updates of events and matters arising within Milan Corporate and Italy retail. Qualifications and Requirements A minimum of 5 years' HR experience in the Retail field; fashion or hospitality experience is desirable. Well-rounded in talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of interfacing at all levels Commercial judgment, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to make timely decisions. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks; ability to influence. Experience managing employee relations issues and handling confidential information. Bachelor’s degree or requisite experience. Proficiency with candidate sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS; quick to learn new technology. Microsoft Office/Suite proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Proficient in English and Italian (spoken and written); French and German are a plus. Available to travel within the region.
