The Role We're looking for a Design & Content Specialist who can design campaigns that convert, bring our NPD to life visually, and create content that makes our bread look as good as it tastes. You'll own our visual output from packaging concepts through to email campaigns, social ads, and recipe content - working alongside external agencies, freelancers, and the wider team. Think: designing a product launch campaign in the morning, briefing a videographer in the afternoon, and keeping our brand looking tight across every touchpoint. This is either a part-time role or Freelance role (around 2.5 days per week, to be discussed) or a full-time role for the right candidate. This is where strategic design meets hands-on content production and creative direction. We're building towards retail, strengthening our D2C, and scaling rapidly - your work will directly fuel that growth. The Setup: Part-time, approximately 2.5 days per week (flexible structure to be discussed) 1 day per week in our Leeds office for design, collabs, shoots, and planning Rest is remote - work from wherever works for you Individual creatives only - no agencies What You'll Do Campaign Design & Marketing Creative Design email marketing campaigns that drive conversion Create scroll-stopping social content - organic posts, stories, paid ads Build digital ad campaigns across Meta, Google Display, and more Design seasonal campaigns and launch assets for new products Own the visual execution of our brand across all customer touchpoints Work with external agencies and freelancers to bring bigger campaigns to life NPD & Brand Development Support new product development with packaging concepts and visual direction Create product launch assets from teaser campaigns to retail-ready visuals Design pitch decks and sales materials for retail buyers and partnerships Maintain and evolve our brand guidelines as we scale Collaborate with external designers / freelancers when needed for specialist projects Content Production & Creative Direction Either shoot product photography and recipe content yourself, or brief and art direct freelance photographers/videographers Produce ad hoc video content for social and campaigns (or oversee production) Build and maintain our content asset library Make keto bread look absolutely irresistible on camera You're Perfect For This If You: ✅ Have 3-5 years as a designer in agency, brand, CPG, or FMCG environments ✅ Have a strong portfolio showing campaign work, brand design, and digital marketing ✅ Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign essential) ✅ Can either shoot and style food content yourself or have strong creative direction experience briefing and managing external creatives ✅ Understand what makes food brands ‘work’ - especially in health/wellness space ✅ Have experience designing for e-commerce, retail, and DTC brands ✅ Can juggle multiple projects independently and manage freelancers/agencies when needed ✅ Are West-Yorkshire based and can be in our office one day per week ✅ Are a solo creative (not an agency) Bonus points if: You've worked with food, CPG, or FMCG brands before You can shoot and edit video content yourself (but not essential — we work with freelancers too!) You've supported NPD launches from concept to shelf You understand what performs on social (especially Instagram & TikTok) You've worked with early-stage or high-growth brands You know the keto/low-carb space (or are excited to learn it!) The Ideal Candidate You can design a launch campaign in the morning and brief a photographer in the afternoon. You understand brand strategy, conversion design, and how to make healthy food look incredible - whether you're creating it yourself or directing others to bring your vision to life. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats - designing retail pitch decks, briefing and managing freelance videographers, optimising email templates, and creating social content. You know when to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself, and when to bring in specialist help. You thrive on the variety and impact of working directly with a growing brand where your work influences revenue. You get excited about food brands, you follow the health & wellness space, and you probably have strong opinions about packaging design! Why HeyLO!?
