Renewable Energy Sales Manager

A leading European manufacturer within the renewable energy industry is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to help drive commercial growth and strengthen market presence across the UK. The business operates in over 150 countries and continues to invest heavily in renewable and sustainable solutions. With a well-developed product range covering battery energy storage systems and related technologies, they are now expanding their UK operations to enhance customer relationships and accelerate growth. The role: This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in developing the UK sales function, managing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across renewable energy markets. Managing and supporting existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Developing new business opportunities and expanding the UK client base. Preparing quotations and collaborating with technical teams on tailored system proposals. Maintaining accurate sales records and pipeline tracking through CRM tools. Producing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management and stakeholders. The person: The ideal candidate is likely to have Proven experience in sales or account management within the renewable energy, BESS, or related sectors. Strong understanding of the C&I market and customer lifecycle management. Skilled communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Proactive, commercially minded, and confident balancing customer support with business development. Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce advantageous).
