Job Description

Position Summary A multinational company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the accounting function. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations, driving the accurate consolidation and reporting of financial information, and implementing strong internal controls. The Senior Accounting Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, including legal functions, and play a key role in internal audits and corporate financial governance. Requirements: Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus. Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in multinational corporations within FMCG, consumer goods, or corporate finance sectors. At least 5 years of consulting experience in Big 4 firms (combined industry and consulting background highly desirable). Proven experience in team leadership and management of multidisciplinary areas. Experience with financial consolidation using HFM/Dynamics and working knowledge of SAP (preferred). Skills & Competencies Advanced English (oral and written). Strong analytical and synthesis skills to interpret complex financial information. Strategic leadership, planning, and results-driven mindset. Solid understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end operation of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local/international standards (IFRS / US GAAP). Coordinate and supervise two legal areas, ensuring effective management of corporate legal matters. Lead and develop a team of six direct reports, promoting high performance and engagement. Manage general accounting processes and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. Direct and monitor internal audit processes, ensuring proper implementation of findings and action plans. Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Control teams. Participate in financial consolidation using tools such as HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), Dynamics, and SAP (desirable). Safeguard the integrity and accuracy of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
