Acceleration Center - Guidewire - JDP Senior Consultant Role Summary You will own the development of user-facing features for our web applications, collaborating closely with design and backend teams. You’ll translate designs into clean, maintainable code, ensure excellent performance and accessibility, and contribute to our component library and design system. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to micro-frontends, Web Components, or module federation Basic Node.js and API knowledge for local development tooling Experience with internationalization/localization Understanding of cloud environments and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic) Key Responsibilities Build responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript Implement features and reusable components in a modern framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/Sketch files into production-ready UI, maintaining pixel accuracy and UX fidelity Write tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and participate in code reviews Work with REST/GraphQL APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on contracts and error handling Document technical decisions and provide clear implementation notes Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver high-quality work in iterative sprints Skills needed 2 years of professional front-end development experience (or equivalent) Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and modern JavaScript (ES6); solid TypeScript experience Experience with at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular) Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Vite, Webpack, Rollup) and package managers (npm, Yarn, pnpm) Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright) Understanding of accessibility best practices and web standards Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows Understanding of common web security considerations (XSS, CSRF) and secure coding practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
