Supplier Development Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Supplier Development Consultant with 7–10 years of experience in supplier quality, supplier management, and performance improvement . This role focuses on the oversight and delivery of critical aeronautical and automotive components , with a strong emphasis on machining and special processes (coating & heat treatment). You’ll be working closely with suppliers across France, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness of components for both civil and military applications . Key Responsibilities Daily presence (4–5 days/week) at supplier sites across France. Manage a high-volume portfolio of manufacturing orders using tools like SAP, Line of Balance (LOB), Pelico , and shutdown schedules. Leverage client ERP systems and supplier databases for efficient outreach and WIP monitoring. Coordinate with multiple suppliers to meet delivery timelines, cost targets, and quality standards. Resolve queries and communication challenges across global supplier networks. Implement centralized coordination and robust communication platforms to streamline operations. Key Success Factors Proven ability to accelerate lead times and ensure timely delivery of critical components. Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven supplier performance optimization. Experience in navigating complex supplier networks and managing subcontractors.
