Project Manager (Steel Fabrication)

Position PurposeThe Project Manager will oversee and deliver steel fabrication projects up to $10M, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The role involves leading teams, managing stakeholders, and maintaining full control of financial and contractual obligations.Key Responsibilities· Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to completion.· Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.· Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules, budgets, and KPIs.· Maintain effective client and subcontractor relationships.· Administer contracts, variations, and progress claims.· Drive compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards.· Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.Qualifications and Experience· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred but not essential.· Minimum 3 years’ project management experience in steel fabrication, construction, or heavy engineering.· Demonstrated success in delivering projects up to $10M.· High-level leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.· Proficiency with MS Project (or similar), MS Office, and ERP systems.Key Competencies· Strategic planning and problem-solving.· Strong commercial and financial acumen.· Safety and quality leadership.· Stakeholder management and relationship building.Benefits· Opportunity to lead high-value projects with a respected industry leader.· Supportive, collaborative workplace.· Competitive salary and career development pathways.
