What we’re building: A web platform where immigrants can: Create profiles and find others by language, location, gender, and age Ask everyday questions to an AI assistant (e.g., how to find a doctor, open a bank account, etc.) Join and organize local events Promote small immigrant-owned businesses Connect via private chat and build community Current stack: Backend: FastAPI, MySQL, Docker, AWS Frontend: Next.js Tailwind (optional to expand into mobile later) What we’re looking for: Someone ready to take ownership of the tech direction Strong experience in backend or full-stack development (Python preferred) Passion for building real-world products with social impact Willingness to join as a co-founder with equity (no salary at MVP stage) You’ll work directly with the founder and help shape the core of the product, team, and tech.
