Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Public Sector Northern, VA | San Francisco | Hybrid (On-Site with Customers) Bringing AI to Mission-Critical Environments This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling AI-powered applications for high-impact public sector deployments. Engaging at every stage of the development lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to full-scale implementation this position ensures AI solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally effective. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate directly with public sector teams to develop and deploy AI-driven applications. * Design and optimize full-stack solutions using Python, JavaScript, and cloud infrastructure. * Guide best practices for AI integration, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. * Work cross-functionally with engineers, stakeholders, and leadership to maximize AIs operational impact. Qualifications: * 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally in customer-facing or embedded roles. * Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform). * Experience deploying and scaling production AI applications. * Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Active TS/SCI Security Clearance * A mindset of ownership, adaptability, and execution in high-stakes environments.
