Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required RN License Certifications: None required Must-Have: - RN License - BLS Certification Description: Client is a flagship hospital known for its commitment to providing the highest quality clinical care. Recognized as one of the top hospitals from 2020 to 2023, it identifies the top 1% of hospitals in the nation. The facility has earned an "A" safety grade, reflecting its achievements in patient protection. The organization received the prestigious Magnet Designation for nursing excellence and quality care. This location serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke care, and neonatal intensive care. It includes the region's only children's hospital and a pediatric emergency room. The facility is renowned for its robotic surgery program and cardiac services. The Oncology unit has a total of 24 beds and a dedicated staff of 42. Nursing staff during the day includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 4-6 RNs. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:4 or 1:5. The electronic medical record system is Cerner. Successful candidates should be team players who are eager to learn new skills. Basic hospital policies and guidelines are in place.
