Safety Advisor

Job Title: Safety Advisor – Pharma Location: France About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a high-tech Pharma construction project in France. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all phases of the project, providing guidance and support to the project team. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures. Monitor and enforce compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations . Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement mitigation measures. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to project personnel and subcontractors. Investigate incidents and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions. Support the project team in achieving zero-harm objectives and maintaining a strong safety culture. Collaborate with management, contractors, and client representatives to ensure all safety standards are met. Requirements: Proven experience as a Safety Advisor or HSE professional in construction projects, ideally on data centres or high-tech facilities . Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teams at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of an international, multicultural team . Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
