At K-LAGAN, we are seeking a mechanical product engineer for a Tier 1 automotive client located in the province of Barcelona! Are you passionate about engineering and innovation? Join our team as a Product Engineer (PE) and play a key role in the design, development, and industrialization of cutting-edge mechanical products in the automotive sector. Key Responsibilities Ensure the technical feasibility of the product during offer and development phases, in alignment with internal methodologies. Apply standardized solutions and Lessons Learned across all product development processes. Conduct design reviews under the guidance of the Design Master. Ensure timely delivery of prototypes and developments according to customer/FDS milestones. Participate in product and process FMEAs. Analyze test report results and define countermeasures with the Quality Design Engineer. Collaborate with manufacturing teams for effective product industrialization. Manage product modifications efficiently throughout development. Enhance product performance, quality, and cost through competitor benchmarking and technical innovation. Work closely with Purchasing and suppliers to optimize components for cost, quality, and manufacturability. Develop and ensure high-quality CAD (3D & 2D) designs. Propose technical Lessons Learned during the industrialization phase. Liaise directly with client engineering teams for successful product development. Requirements University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Fluent in English and German (spoken and written). 2–3 years of experience in a similar role. Previous experience with mechanical products. Note: Significant relevant experience may offset formal education requirements. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the automotive industry.
