Temporary Lower School Social Emotional Counselor

EARJ is looking for an experienced and accomplished Temporary Lower School Social Emotional Counselor to join our team at Barra campus. Start date: February 2026. The Counselor serves as an educational leader in the Lower School by supporting the social, emotional and academic needs of all students. The Counselor collaborates with the School Administration, faculty and staff to build a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment through education; best practices; and culturally responsive, data-informed prevention and intervention. The Lower School Counselor guides students from diverse international backgrounds to develop resilience and healthy coping strategies for success in school and life. Job Requirements: Psychology, Psychopedagogy or related field degree. Desired additional certification or postgraduate degree in special education or inclusive learning. 5-7 years of experience in an international school context. Fluent English.
