ENGINEERING MANAGER IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY The Sr. Engineer Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the plant’s engineering operations. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency, process quality, and continuous improvement in all engineering areas, while maintaining technological competitiveness and innovation in electronic product manufacturing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in engineering roles within electronics manufacturing plants, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Key Knowledge: Electronic manufacturing processes (SMT, PCBA, final assembly). Quality and continuous improvement systems (Lean, Six Sigma, IATF, ISO9001). Project management tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.) Skills: Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Effective communication and strategic decision-making. Advanced English proficiency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the plant’s engineering team, establishing priorities and strategies to achieve company goals. Develop and implement process and product improvements, fostering innovation and the adoption of new technologies in electronics manufacturing. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards across all projects and processes. Manage new product launch projects, ensuring proper technology transfer and adherence to timelines. Oversee activities related to process optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow. Develop and coach the engineering team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Serve as a technical point of contact with customers and suppliers when necessary.
