Senior Lead Network Engineer with Security Clearance

The Senior Lead Network Engineer provides technical leadership and oversight for enterprise-wide network systems, including WAN, LAN, and voice/data/video communications. This position is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing secure, resilient, and high-performing networks to support mission-critical operations. The Engineer will supervise staff, manage network resources, and ensure compliance with technical requirements and security protocols. Responsibilities include network topology design, interoperability analysis, procurement planning, firewall and security tool management, and continuous performance optimization. The Senior Lead Network Engineer will also research new technologies and evaluate their applicability in the enterprise environment. This position requires being onsite three days a week in Washington, DC. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline. 12–15 years of network engineering experience; 3–5 years in leadership. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (plus baseline A, Security, or Network). Strong expertise in network design, implementation, and optimization. Experience managing budgets, teams, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior Government staff.
