Solutions Architect - Retail/eCommerce SA Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to help drive adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical member of the Business Development team, helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform. Key responsibilities include scoping customer engagements, owning technical engagements, and capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community. A day in the life of a Solutions Architect within AWS includes helping to shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services within strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills, a technical background, and the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
