Senior Finance Manager IFRS17 - Cape Town

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals and objectives. - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making. - Oversee the company's budgeting and forecasting processes. - Manage financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, quarterly reports, and annual audits. - Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial performance. - Monitor and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. - Establish and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. - Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members. Qualifications: - CA (SA) essential. - Minimum of 5 to 8 years senior finance manager experience. - IFRS17 is essential. - Financial services experience is essential. - Proven track record of success in a financial leadership role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to effectively lead and manage a team. - Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements. - Experience with financial planning and analysis software. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
